By joining the server, using this website, or buying from the store, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are
My Hero Unbound ("MHU", "we") is an independent, fan-run Minecraft server operated by [OPERATOR NAME / TEAM]. MHU is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios, Microsoft, Kohei Horikoshi, Shueisha, Studio Bones, or the My Hero Academia franchise. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Studios.
2. Eligibility
You need a legitimate Minecraft: Java Edition account to play. If you are under 18, you may only use the store with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf. Store purchases are for people aged 18 or over, or minors with that permission.
3. Your account
- Your MHU character is tied to your Minecraft account. You are responsible for anything done on it. Don't share your account.
- Alternate accounts are allowed only within the rules. Using alts to evade a punishment extends the punishment to every account involved.
- We may reset, correct, or roll back characters, inventories, or progression to fix bugs, exploits, or duplication, including items that were bought.
4. Rules and enforcement
The Server Rules are part of these terms. Breaking them can lead to warnings, mutes, temporary suspensions, progression corrections, or permanent bans, at staff discretion and based on severity, intent, history, and risk to the server. Appeals go through the support form. Staff decisions on appeals are final.
5. Virtual items and purchases
- Ranks, keys, cosmetics, custom quirks, and every other thing sold in the store are virtual items: a licence to use a feature on MHU, not property. They have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred or sold to other players unless a feature explicitly allows it.
- Purchases are processed by CraftingStore. CraftingStore's own terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are shown in [CURRENCY] and include any applicable tax unless stated otherwise.
- Delivery. Items are delivered to the exact Minecraft username entered at checkout, normally within a few minutes of payment clearing, and usually require you to be online or to relog. Enter your username carefully; we cannot move a purchase delivered to a misspelled name onto a different account unless you can prove you own both.
- If delivery fails, contact us with your CraftingStore transaction ID through the support form. We will deliver the item or, if we can't, refund it.
- Custom quirks are commissioned work. The scope, exclusivity, and any changes are agreed in writing before work starts. Once you approve the ability plan, the commission is considered delivered when the quirk is implemented as approved; balance adjustments after release are part of normal operation and are not grounds for a refund.
- We may change, rebalance, rename, or retire any item or feature, including purchased ones, to keep the game fair and functioning. We will try to provide a reasonable equivalent when we retire something.
- Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
6. Punishments and purchased benefits
Being banned or suspended does not entitle you to a refund. Purchased benefits remain attached to the account and become usable again if a temporary punishment ends; they are forfeited on a permanent ban.
7. Server closure and downtime
MHU is a hobby project run by a small team. We may take the server offline for maintenance, testing, or wipes, and we may eventually close it. Virtual items have no cash value and are not refundable if the server closes, is reset, or a feature is removed. We will give notice on Discord where we reasonably can.
8. Content and conduct
- Anything you build, write, or upload on MHU (builds, chat, names, skins) must follow the rules and must not infringe anyone's rights.
- You grant us a licence to display, record, and share gameplay involving your character (for trailers, screenshots, streams, and social media) without payment.
- You may stream, record, and post MHU gameplay freely. Please credit the server.
- Do not use the server's plugins, resource pack, models, textures, or code outside MHU without permission.
9. Website
This website is provided as-is. Information about mechanics, numbers, and roadmap items reflects the current state of development and may change without notice. The wiki is informational, not a promise.
10. Disclaimers and liability
MHU is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost progress, lost items, downtime, bugs, or any indirect or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced on Discord. Continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY / STATE]. Consumers in the EU/UK keep the protections of their local law.
