What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and who else sees it.

Who we are
My Hero Unbound ("MHU", "we") is an independent, fan-run Minecraft server operated by [OPERATOR NAME / TEAM], based in [COUNTRY]. We are not affiliated with Mojang Studios, Microsoft, or the My Hero Academia franchise. Questions about this policy go to [CONTACT EMAIL] or the support form.
What we collect
When you join the server
- Minecraft username and UUID — provided by Mojang when you connect. This is your account on MHU.
- IP address — received automatically on connection. Used for anti-cheat, ban enforcement, and abuse prevention.
- Gameplay data — your quirk, level, stats, inventory, items, money, cosmetics, mission progress, match results, playtime, and similar records needed to run the game and the leaderboards.
- Chat and command logs — kept so staff can investigate reports, harassment, scams, and exploit use.
- Client details — game version and whether the resource pack loaded, for compatibility and troubleshooting.
When you use this website
- We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. The site stores nothing in your browser beyond what is needed for the page to work.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, the live player count comes from mcstatus.io, and leaderboard avatars from mc-heads.net. Those services see your IP address when your browser requests them, under their own privacy policies.
- If you submit the support form, we receive what you type: Minecraft username, Discord username, email, category, description, evidence links, and transaction ID if provided.
When you make a purchase
- Purchases are processed by CraftingStore. CraftingStore and its payment providers collect your payment details; we never see your card or bank information. We receive your Minecraft username, the item bought, the amount, a transaction ID, and (where CraftingStore provides it) an email address and country.
On Discord
- Your Discord username and ID, messages in our server, and any account link you choose to make between Discord and Minecraft. Discord's own privacy policy also applies.
Why we collect it
- To run the game: save your character, deliver purchases, show leaderboards, run events.
- To keep the server fair and safe: detect cheating, enforce the rules, handle reports and appeals.
- To support you: answer tickets and fix purchase problems.
- To improve MHU: understand which content is played and where players get stuck. We look at this in aggregate.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
How long we keep it

Who else receives data
- Hosting provider — [HOSTING PROVIDER NAME], which stores the server and its databases.
- CraftingStore — payment processing and store operation.
- Discord — community chat and support.
- Mojang / Microsoft — authenticates your Minecraft account when you connect.
- Google Fonts, mcstatus.io, mc-heads.net — website assets and live data, as described above.
- Anti-cheat and server plugins — run on our own server; they do not send your data elsewhere.
We will disclose data if legally required to, or to protect players from serious harm.
Public information
Your Minecraft username, avatar, level, competitive wins, boss kills, playtime, and vote counts may appear on public leaderboards and in-game. Purchases may appear as "recent purchases" on the store using your username only.
Your choices and rights
- Access or export — ask us for a copy of the data we hold on your username.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your character and associated data. We may keep ban records and purchase records where we are legally or contractually required to.
- Correction — if something we hold is wrong, tell us.
- Objection — if you disagree with how we use your data, contact us and we will explain or stop.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you may have additional statutory rights. Contact [CONTACT EMAIL] to exercise any of these. We respond within [30] days.
Children
Minecraft is played by people of all ages. We collect only what is needed to run the game. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live (13 in the US, 13–16 in the EU), a parent or guardian should review this policy and must make any purchase on your behalf. If we learn that we hold personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it. Parents can contact us at the address above.
Security
Data is stored on password-protected servers with access limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you through Discord and this website.
Changes
We will update this page and change the effective date when the policy changes. Significant changes will also be announced on Discord.
